Marshall’s Physical Domination: Tigers Hand No. 3 Fairmont Cardinals a 37-13 Defeat

Marshall’s prowess on both sides of the field led to a stunning 37-13 victory over previously undefeated Fairmont. Cornerback Dylan Haney and receiver Ashton Blomberg showcased their skills, while fullback Gavin Schaefer powered the ground game with 176 yards. Quarterback Josh Kraft connected with Blomberg for a game-changing 161 yards, setting up multiple touchdowns. Marshall’s defense, led by Haney, intercepted four passes to keep the Cardinals at bay. Despite an early offensive exchange, the Tigers unleashed a 31-point barrage, sealing their victory. Marshall’s relentless defense and dominant offensive display left Fairmont with adjustments to make for future games. With a total yardage advantage of 452-255, Marshall emerged victorious with a 4-2 record, while Fairmont (5-1) looks ahead to their next challenge against Worthington.
