According to the arrest report, Morthechi Braffman shot dead 17 times in the “unprocessed” attack, and when he drove his truck, he told the authorities, “he saw two Palestinians,” and fired in their car, thinking he had killed the couple. But the men survived, one shot a shot and the other by the bullet to the shoulder.

Records show that 27 -year -old Braffman has been placed in a secondary murder allegations in a district jail in Miami. According to Miami Herald, he has been ordered to stay away from the victims, the Israeli father and the son of a vacation in South Florida.

Braffman’s lawyer, Dustin Dishler, has said that his customer is experiencing a “severe mental health crisis” during the shooting, thus he “fears his life”.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Brafman said that “his ability to give good judgments was significantly compromised,” Braffman said that he is seeking “necessary treatment” when cooperating with law enforcement.

The Florida Chapter on the US-Islamic Relations, the Muslim Civil Rights and Lawyer, called for federal hate crimes against Braffman, and said it would guarantee its pro-Palestinians against the Palestinians regardless of the victims.
