The European Union and NATO leaders gathered in Paris on Monday and discussed the change in the US policy on the Ukrainian war and alleviate the common response to the safety of the old continent.
Ursula van der Lainin, chairman of the European Union Executive Committee (EU), said that the security of Europe is in a “turning point”.
“It’s all about Ukraine, but it’s about us. We need an emergency mood. We need an increase (cost) with security. Now we need it,” he wrote on the social network.
The Paris meeting gathered at the last minute by French President Emmanuel Macron, which occurs in a subtle time for Atlantic relations.
Kiev and European powers fear that Russia’s invasion of Ukraine in Ukraine, which invaded Russia, was excluded from negotiations to end the conflict.
The distrust began after a telephone conversation between US President Donald Trump and his Russian colleague Vladimir Putin.
The communication between the two leaders is one of the key topics of the weekend security conference.

In Munich, Jelensky put pressure on his European allies to strengthen his sect, and urged them to create a European army.
Like Gelensky, German Chancellor Olaf Shals said that negotiations on Ukraine could not “work” without Europeans.
British Labor Prime Minister Kair Stemer on Monday asked for any agreement on Ukraine “fair and durable.”
