On Saturday, at least 15 people were killed in a stamp at the New Delhi Railway Station and many others were injured, suddenly passengers rushed, and they tried to board the trains in Prayagraj.
In a statement, the Railway Ministry said a high -level inquiry into the “unfortunate incident” has been ordered.
The injured were taken to Lok Naik Jai Prakash Narain (LNJP) Hospital for treatment.
The Deputy Police Commissioner (Railway) said that many people attended the stage No. 14 while standing on the platform of the Paravagaraj Express. The official said in a statement that the Swandrada Seanani Express and Bhuvneshwar Rajdhani Express were delayed and the passengers of the trains were on the 12th, 13th and 14th platform.
Eyewitnesses said that due to a hurry at the station, many passengers were fainted due to shortness of breath.
