Manila, the Philippines – Senatorial Aspire Panfilo Laxon said on Thursday that he was taking care of the company’s institutionalization of the Kadiva scheme to eliminate intermediaries who add to agricultural expenses and eliminate intermediaries who allow the local government units (LGE) to interfere directly in the distribution chain.
He said this at a press conference before the Alliance for the New Philippines’ Declaration rally in Illo.
“I would like to read how to institution in the law through the law, so that it can eliminate a large number of intermediaries because it will directly connect the producers with the help of local government units,” said Laxon Philippines.

The Gadiva project is a government -run retail system designed to connect the farmers directly to the consumers.

This allows President Ferdinand to maintain the food safety of the Marcos Junior and allow the marginalized sector to buy agricultural products at a lower price.

At the same press conference, Laxon pointed out that some LGs had already accepted the Gadiva program.
“It is practiced in other provinces, where (LGUs) interferes, interferes, and farmers’ products are buying and distributing Kadiva shops.
“It is already in effect in some provinces, where the LGs interfere with the purchase of farmers’ produce and distribute them to Kadiva shops. In this way, the prices are reduced significantly by eliminating intermediaries,” he said.
Instead of being temporary, he said it was better to institute it through the law to help the farmers but also the ordinary consumers.
