The Doluka Municipal Council launched a strategic “storytelling Casks” campaign, aimed at reducing motorcycle accidents and promoting proper use of safety equipment. This effort seeks to realize the population about the importance of road safety and participate in motorcycle manufacturers, distribution companies, moto fluores and civil organizations.

During the La Dolukuasa Conference, Mayor Ricardo Moro Bastida reported that there were 12 deaths in the city from January 1 to February 10, 2025. As for this panorama, the municipal administration promotes this campaign with a preventive and non -collection attitude, with the aim of reducing the number of victims of the road.

As part of the strategy, damaged motorcycles are placed on the main points of the city, such as Walker Constitution and Alameda, with the intention of not complying to transportation standards and the aim of driving without adequate safety.

Statistics show the size of the problem:

In 2024, Mexico’s state recorded 27 thousand motorcycle accidents, of which 2,750 were in Doluk.
More than 80 people died in the accidents and more than 1,700 emergency calls related to motorcycle claims were treated.
The main causes of speed, helmet and lack of safety equipment, as well as alcohol or drug consumption.
Of the 10 injured, 4 did not wear helmets.
This campaign is part of “campaigns for life”, which includes the “second chance” Preethasar Project and “breathing Doluka” vehicle verification, which are all designed to strengthen road safety and save lives.

Representatives of Motaglups have expressed their support for this initiative and emphasized the importance of driving responsibly. Also, during the presentation of the campaign, a man who escaped a motorcycle accident shared his testimony, showing the need to raise awareness among the people.
