Ed Joyce will step down from his role as the head of the Irish Street Coach after his contract ended in April.
Joyce retired as a player in 2018 and is the coach of the male team of Ireland before taking care of the woman in 2019 after spelling a temporary coach.
46 years, it is said that it is a “privilege” that will take six years to look after the team and praise the “dedication” of his players and employees.
“Six years ago, it was an incredible journey – not only for me. But for all coaches and performance programs, “he added.
“As in my career, I recognize the natural cycle of coaching.
“There is time for the system to benefit from a new perspective and new sounds allows players to explore and develop their skills in a variety of ways.”
The last time Joyce in the care of the team will be the ICC Women’s World Cup World Cup qualifier in Pakistan.
