ISLAMABAD: Turkish President Recempy Erdogan reached Islamabad on a two -day official visit at the invitation of Prime Minister Shebas Sharif.
In the early hours of Thursday morning, the Turkish president was warmly welcomed by high Pakistani officials at Noor Khan Airbace in Rawalpindi.

During his arrival, Turkish President Pakistan-Thurgi will join Prime Minister Shebas to the Seventh Meeting of the High Level Level Strategic Cooperation Council (HLSC).
The meeting is expected to end with a joint announcement, and many key contracts and memorandums (Mous) will be signed. Both leaders will also address a joint press conference.
In addition, President Erdogan will hold a separate meeting with the Prime Minister and President Sardari.
He will also speak at the Pakistan-Thurgi business and investment forum, in which leading investors, companies and businessmen from both countries will attend.
HLSCC is the highest decision -making site between Pakistan and Turkey, which provides strategic direction for bilateral relationships. It oversees many joint stances that focus on trade, investment, banking, finance, culture, tourism, energy, safety, agriculture, transport, communication, information technology, health, science and technology and education.
Six HLSCC meetings were held so far, and the last was held in Islamabad on 13-14 February 2020.
Pakistan and Durga share historical and brotherly relations. The visit of President Erdogan and the Seventh HLSCC session will further deepened these relationships and enhance multi -dimensional cooperation between the two countries.
